Sleepy Cat!
So I think I’ve left this wide open for people to come up with their own zingers to finish this comic off. I had one myself, but I decided to leave it. Let’s see if anyone else comes up with something like it!
On another note, it may soon be time to take a break from GITM to focus on my other art endeavours. I feel like I’m not giving the strip the time it deserves. I feel strongly that GITM is a smart and funny comic, but I’ve been whipping these off as fast as I can and spending almost no time writing the strip. I will think about this for a while and I’ll definitely finish off this story line even though I have no idea where it’s going. I’ll post some of my other art stuff in the blog part of the site soon.
We’ll see how it goes! 🙂
‘Cos the cats would drown when the whales dive. Nearly all my storylines are just made up as I go along. It seems to work better for me that way
Yeah, it works for me too, but I think my best story lines were written in advance… anyway, poor cats…
I think you’re right. And just post whatever art you’re working on here!
That’s my plan!
And not many whales sleeping in a bed.
Not even on SpongeBob?
Copy Cat! 😛 Just teasing Chris.
Hey, if you’re having trouble finding the time to write, do what I do. Think up gags in the shower. It’s the only time I know when I don’t get interrupted. Usually… 😉
Thinking of gags in bed is a waste of time since they are usually forgotten by morning.
Yeah, I hear ya Bill! I wrote next weeks gag while cleaning the bathroom. So there is always a little time to write, BUT I’m still drawing this comics as fast as I can and it’s not doing them justice…
It’s the most interesting spot in the room!
Unless you have a laptop or iPad, in which case, THAT would be the most interesting spot in the room, especially if you are using it…
Is there a salt water cat fish?
We have a winner! That’s what I was thinking of! 🙂
I know what you mean, Chris. I did my last comic strictly with copy/paste. You can only get away with using the same images so many times before your comic becomes Dinosaur Comics… oh, wait…
Yeah, mind you, if we all had Dinosaur comics readership, maybe we’d put more time into it?
I make my story up as I go, too. I have a general idea the direction I want and see where things go from there. Maybe someday I’ll get a buffer going.
Hope to have you back soon, Chris!
Hey Joseph, I haven’t stopped yet! I’ll finish this story line off first… at least that’s the plan.
