Killing The Storyline
Hi Primate Posse™! So it’s been a while since I posted and I decided that I couldn’t continue with the Gus as Trump’s running-mate storyline. As Hilda says in the comic, it just sat too long. So I’m not sure what’s next. If I’m not going to post regularly, I think it makes the most sense to do one off comics rather than storylines. It’ll be interesting to see if I can do that. I just seem to naturally write stories for my comics. Anyway, thanks again to J.P. over at bugpudding.com for his continued support.
On another note, if any ‘tooners are reading this, I’m thinking of trying to go digital. My previous attempts to do this were followed by a quick return of my wacom tablet to Best Buy. I know this technology is getting a lot better, but it looks like it’s pricey. Any thoughts as to the most economical way to go digital?
See y’all soon!
Yes, this dumpster fire of an election has pretty much burned itself out, thankfully.
Going digital is not cheap. The Microsoft Surface Pro seems like one possible approach coupled with ClipPaint Studio for cartooning software.
Thanks for the shout outs.
Yeah, it’s too expensive for me probably. 🙁 Thanks for “bugging” me to do a comic! Comics iz fun!
I recently went digital for my comic.
I always inked and finished them in the computer, but they were drawn on paper and scanned. Drawing on the tablet while watching the screen it rough.
Recently I got an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Now that I can draw on the device and directly see what is happening, it is a lot better. I recommend that. J.P.’s suggestion of the Surface Pro is also good. I think there are also some devices specifically designed for drawing directly on them.
