The Creator’s Solution
Well Primate Posse™, this storyline has come to an end. And with that, I’ve decided to take a little break from GITM. Well, when I say little, I have to admit that I’m not sure how long the break will be. I was planning to do this a while back but then I was selected as the pick of the month over at Webcomic Alliance and I decided to keep going. But the truth is, though I feel strongly that GITM is well written and funny, I’m not really enjoying making it anymore. I’m finding myself not giving it the attention it deserves. With GITM, I spend more time procrastinating and less time working on the strip. This is not true with my other music and art endeavours, like for example this drawing: so it’s time for a break. And what better way to go out than with an anvil!
Anyway, I want to thank all my fellow cartoonists for all your support! I’ll continue to read your comics and send out some promo tweets for you guys (I owe you all a lot – I haven’t been keeping up lately). Even though I’ve never met any of you guys, I like being a part of this virtual community and you guys make this a tough decision. Especially when someone like J.P. Keslensky over at the fabulous comic Bug Pudding tweets out something like this: Knuckles down, one of the funniest #comics on the web by @MrGorillaGuy at https://www.gorillainthemidst.com/ a #webcomic. Thanks for that J.P.!
Anyway, I’ll continue to post my art and music on this site as often as I can and I’ll let you know in the twitterverse when GITM comes back! I’m pretty sure it will, because there will be some storyline in my head that just HAS to be done!
bye for now, Primate Posse™!
Sorry to hear about the break but I understand. That’s a great drawing (looks like a photo!) Remember, those anvils never keep a good coyote down!
Haha! What better way to end but with a cartoon cliche! Bet that anvil was built by ACME. Great comic dude 🙂
