I can’t stomach tripe at all. I see that some folks have an occasional typo in their comments as well as myself. The typos can be entertaining it themselves. Oh, wait, maybe severed tripe is correct and I just assumed you meant” served”, never mind.
I love broccoli and I love steak and I regularly modify mine by mixing them together with mashed potatoes and gravy.

I like mine with asparagus! My sister is vegan. . .and if it weren’t for the beef, I’d take that route myself.
And I like Carl too, he seems like a real fun character.
Yeah, I can understand. I haven’t been less vegetarian myself in years. Although chicken and dairy would make it hard for me to go vegan!
As for Carl, I will have to keep that in mind! One of the initial versions of the strip had Gus living with Carl. It was a kind of Calvin and Hobbes thing, but a boy and his real talking gorilla. But I’m no Watterson, so I changed it up!
